Mary Ann

Owner and Nursing Tutor

Mary Ann is a RN, & EMT...

along with just about everything else!  She enjoys assisting students who are seeking a career in healthcare.  She also owns the partner business EMT Associates, where she teaches a 

variety of nursing and medical licensing classes.  When she can find some spare time, Mary Ann enjoys game nights and spending time with her family.

Coordinator & Spanish Tutor

Austin is currently a student at Oregon State University, studying Geology and Spanish.  She also attended a Spanish immersion school from elementary through high school and obtained the Oregon State

Seal of Bi-literacy.  She helps to manage the Oregon Tutor office and social media accounts, and occasionally does Spanish tutoring. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and going to trivia nights.

Spanish and Math K-4 (in

English or Spanish!) Tutor

MJ is the newest tutor to join our team!  She teaches the Spanish language, and can teach elementary level math in either English or Spanish.

Gretchen

Gretchen graduated from California State University in Fresno with a B.A. in chemistry and from Oregon State University with an M.S. in Chemistry.  She has taught 

Chemistry at Lane Community College and both CSUF and OSU as a graduate student.  Gretchen has tutored math and science students in elementary school through college for over 25 years.  She is also a dedicated volunteer for Greenhill Humane Society as a dog enrichment trainer.  In her free time, Gretchen enjoys, reading, knitting, and hiking and camping with her husband.

Rose

Math & Science Tutor

 

Rose graduated from the University of Oregon in 2008, with a degree in Mathematics and an emphasis on Secondary Education.  She loves teaching math (especially trigonometry and calculus), and enjoys helping

trigonometry and calculus), and enjoys helping students prepare for the AP Calculus exam.  In her spare time, Rose can be found with her cats, making costumes, playing tabletop role-playing games, and working in her garden.  Rose is not currently taking new students.

Our instructors come from a broad range of educational backgrounds and experiences. From Biology majors to retired elementary school teachers, we have a diverse group that allows for collaboration and growth for students as well as instructors. We are always eager to meet new instructors, so if you have experience working with students in an educational environment and feel you would be a good fit for our staff, please feel free to contact us!
